Aircraft ramp service equipment is ground support equipment used routinely for airline support to keep passenger airliners in the air on a day to day basis as opposed to maintenance equipment. The equipment is mostly used in situ outside the hangar to turn the aircraft round. The pieces of equipment have some descriptive names.
