What's the new Emirates cable-car for exactly? It's only a few hundred yards long and simply connects the south-of-the-river wasteland of North Greenwich to the north-of-the-river wasteland of eastern Docklands. Commuters won't use (too expensive), Olympic Park & East End tourists won't use it (too far away), and it closes at 9pm which isn't much use for getting home from 02 evening events.
