Amarnath Yatra: Precautions
The Amarnath Yatra is an annual pilgrimage to the shrine of lord Amarnath in the greater Himalayas in Kashmir. This temple is located at a height of 13,000 feet, hence high altitude illnesses and effects of extreme cold are very common here. These conditions are cause of quite a few numbers of deaths during the Yatra.
