Again, we have slightly condensed this area - when we use this term, we are talking about anywhere along the coastline from after the Madinat Jumeirah right up to the end of Jumeirah Beach Residence and its public beach and just behind. This has a very heavy concentration of Western expat residents and day-tripping tourists, attracted by the cafes and shops of Jumeirah Beach Residence's The Walk, or the beach hotels including the new Sofitel, the old favourite The Ritz-Carlton and the business-friendly bolt-hole Grosvenor House.
