Motorists during holidays in Wales who travel along the A487 just four miles north-east of Aberystwyth are intrigued to see an English place name standing out among all the Welsh ones. And the fact that it is the name of one of London's best-known streets is even more of a conundrum, for Bow Street is very familiar as the site of the Capital's historic first police station and also appears on our Monopoly boards.
