Greenwich CT Historic Homes: Thomas Lyon House

Greenwich, Connecticut's Thomas Lyon House was built around 1690-95 and is considered Greenwich's oldest unaltered structure. A colonial saltbox at 1 Bram Road, it was built by the family and decedents of Thomas Lyon, who was one of the earliest settlers in Fairfield County. The Thomas Lyon House is considered a rare example of colonial-style architecture without the additions and changes to the core structure that usually occurs over time.
