Hammamet Yasmine is a popular resort in the up and coming holiday destination of Tunisia. The purpose built tourist resort of Hammamet Yasmine is located less than 4 miles from the resort of Hammamet in Tunisia. Sitting right on the seafront, the resort is named after the masses of fragrant jasmine flowers that can be found all over the area. This modern resort was opened in the year 2000, offering visitors all the trappings today's tourists desire. These include casinos, nightclubs, a large glamorous marina and even camel rides around the walls of a 'false' medina. Since Hammamet Yasmine is a new resort it does lack any historical character but you can take a short taxi ride (very cheap) to Hammamet which is full of history and culture.
