Over a three hour drive from my hometown of Portland, Oregon, I knew virtually nothing of the city of Roseburg, Oregon until speaking with Craig Reed, Features Editor and Business Reporter for the Roseburg News Review. Craig was quick to describe Roseburg as a small town in a rural community, citing the horse trailer passing by his office window as evidence.
