A Visit to Bikaner
Bikaner is a district of northwest Rajasthan. It was founded by Rao Bika in 1488 as the capital of princely state of Bikaner and the flag of princely Bikaner was yellow and red in color. Now its district headquarters of Bikaner division. It is fourth largest city of Rajasthan. The city is very famous for its sweets and snacks or we say Bikaneri namkeens. Bikaner is in the middle of the Thar Desert and in summers the temperature even exceeds 50 degrees and in winters it goes down to the freezing points. There is a very little rain fall as it falls in desert area.
